arcAdia Italian Vodka (Concept Bottle)

arcAdia Italian Vodka is a concept bottle designed by Elia Pittavino, inspired by the ancient undisclosed worlds with a futuristic twist. This innovative design aims to bring together the past and the future, creating a unique and evocative experience for vodka enthusiasts.

The arcAdia bottle is made of glass, with three varieties of colors and treatments. The "Cyan" bottle features flat colored glass, while the "Silver" edition boasts a 70% opacity silver reflecting finish. The "Black" edition is made of black glass with an 85% opacity finish, allowing the vodka to be seen through the bottle. The gift packaging is made of light metal, with a cap that can be opened by twisting the main upper part, ensuring easy transportation.

The arcAdia vodka bottle has a polygonal shape with a 10 cm diameter base and a height of 33 cm. The gift packaging has a 13 cm diameter base and a height of 36 cm. These specifications make the bottle and packaging visually appealing and easy to handle.

The interaction with the arcAdia vodka bottle starts with its visually striking shape and facing treatments. The polygonal multi-faced design allows for easy handling and serving. The gift packaging adds to the user interaction with a twisting opening movement, revealing the bottle once the upper part is lifted up.

The arcAdia concept was born in Italy in late 2014 and has since been developed with a focus on the fashion and luxury markets. The design draws inspiration from the luxury world, ancient undisclosed worlds, iconic and mythological constructions, and futuristic buildings. The central character "A" in the arcAdia logo is linked to the "Awen" glyph symbol, representing poetic and spiritual illumination.

Elia Pittavino faced the challenge of delivering a shape that is not only evocative but also functional and easy to handle. The result is a vodka bottle that stands out in terms of design and usability.

The arcAdia Italian Vodka concept bottle by Elia Pittavino was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2015.
